FAQs

How can I be the first to know when new paintings are available?

The best way to find out about new work that I've added is to follow me on Instagram (@kalawhiteart) and subscribe to my newsletter at the bottom of this page. Unfortunately, I am not able to contact people individually to let them know when I've added new work.

What medium do you use?

It varies depending on the subject. I mostly work in acrylics and charcoal, but use watercolor or inks from time to time.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.

How much will it cost to ship my order?

All prints and products ship via USPS or UPS. This cost will be calculated at checkout.

When can I expect my order to ship?

Your order will be shipped out within 3-7 days of your purchase date. Please note that I do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or nationally observed US holidays. If there is an unexpected delay, we will reach out via email.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive an email notification confirming shipment (be sure to check your spam folder).

Can I commission a painting?

I have decided to take a break from commissions so that I can create more available artwork for my collectors and follow my creative path naturally.

Print quality & details

All reproductions in my shop are Giclee reproductions and are created using a huge, high quality Archival Ink Jet printer that uses rich inks applied to long-lasting fine art papers.

They are printed on flat artist paper and can be matted or dry-mounted before framing. The prints are frequently mistaken for originals.

All Giclee reproductions are printed to order by a local printing house and take 7-10 days to arrive back in our studio, then I will promptly package and ship them to you.

Framing

I recommend framing all of your originals and prints. Not only do they look incredibly beautiful framed, but it will help to protect your fresh artwork from wear and dust.

At checkout, you have the option to purchase a custom fit frame and gallery style mat. These frames are made at SimplyFramed.

All original artwork includes framing with your order.

You would like a larger print?

I am able to offer custom size prints upon request up to 44 inches and any length. Email me to confirm make a request.

Who actually owns the original artwork?

I retain all rights to all artwork I create. This includes the rights to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings.   I retain the right to make REPRODUCTIONS OF ANY AND ALL ARTWORK I CREATE.

The Collector or buyer may not reproduce the artwork in any way without written permission.

If the artwork ends up being reproduced in a magazine or other media I only ask for credit (and congratulations! that means your home is super beautiful!).

When you purchase an original painting you, the collector, have the right to display the artwork in your home or business but the artwork may not be resold or reproduced without my written permission.
