I am a painter and digital designer living in Asheville, NC with my husband & two boys. Raised in a small town, I naturally found art while spending many hours in my Mimi’s studio and vintage antique store. Early memories of traveling to NYC galleries with my AP art class and earning the President’s Award at SC Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities solidified my desire to create. I went on to receive a BFA at Winthrop University studying fine art, photography and jewelry making. My creative career for the past 15 years has been a journey of designing digital experiences for billion dollar healthcare brands. During this time, my family has lived in major cities from coast to coast, picking up bits of inspiration along the way.

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”

My artistic practice is in response to time spent in nature, unexpected colors combinations, form and movement. I create work that elevates the spaces we live in and connects viewers with the beauty all around us. No matter the subject, I push my work towards loose abstraction while retaining a balance of realism. There’s nothing I love more than seeing the paint strokes take on their own personality.
